The
greatest advantage of the Hotel Center Rome is without
doubt our fantastic location in the heart of the city
– take a look at the Interactive Map of
Rome below and you’ll see that we’re
right by Termini Station, the city’s public transport
epicenter.

In the immediate vicinity there are the Baths of Diocesan,
Piazza della Repubblica, the stunning cathedral of Santa
Maria Maggiore and, a little further on, the incredible
Colosseum. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the
ancient 80,000-capacity arena was and is the pride and
the symbol of the great eternal city.
By public transport from nearby Termini, any other
part of the city, or indeed the country, can be reached
with relative ease. If you like to walk, we’d
suggest you simply continue on from the Colosseum down
the great ceremonial thoroughfare of Via Fori Imperiali,
passing literally over the ancient Roman Forum whereupon
Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra once contemplated what
to do with the riches of the entire known world. At
the end of Via Fori Imperiali we reach Piazza Venezia
and the stunning heart of Rome’s Centro Storico.
Ornate fountains, stunning churches, immaculate Renaissance
and Baroque piazza all hidden amongst cobbled lanes
where artisan boutiques jostle for space with restaurants
and trattorie.
Passing even further through the city, we reach the
River Tiber and subsequently, the Vatican City State,
in the wake of the immense Basilica Cathedral of St
Peter, where Pope Benedict XVI addresses thousands upon
thousands of devoted followers.
How do we get there?
The proximity of all 3 Hotel Center properties to Termini
Station makes us one of the easiest hotels to reach
in Italy. Transport links from both of the city’s
airports (Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci and Ciampino)
bring you here. If you prefer to take a taxi they operate
for fixed prices of €40 and €30 from the two
airports respectively.
On arrival in Termini, exit to the left as you come
from the train platforms, onto Via Giolitti. Turn left
and continue down Via Giolitti for around 10 minutes
and you’ll come to Rome Hotel Center 1 –
which is the check in desk for all three properties.
By Car
Come in from the Grande Raccordo Anulare (Ring
Road) and follow signs for Centro and Termini. Via Giolitti
runs parallel with the station and there are pubic car
parks right there.
